IL’s Ultimate Event III Wrap-up: When the Party’s Over…

I’m getting the usual post-seminar echos in my head, just like I knew I would.

With 25 speakers (and many more experts and staff) at our 2008 Ultimate Event in Cancun, Mexico, last week, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to instantly process all the expert tips, first-person experiences, and global financial advice that I and our 275 attendees were flooded with in those four information-packed days.

I’ve been through this before...in fact, it happens after every event, and I tell our attendees as much right up front. I tell them at the start of our first day not to worry about being overwhelmed by the amount of information they’re about to receive. The human brain is an amazing thing, and from personal experience, I know that my subconscious is working over everything I see and hear...even things I don’t remember seeing and hearing.

During the days and weeks after an event, parts of presentations and pieces of conversations come back to mind, almost falling out of the sky. And amazingly, the bits and pieces start to fit into place in the larger picture of what I wanted and needed from the event in the first place.

Most of our attendees tell me they have this same self-sorting experience.

Out of the blue, they’ll hear Bob Bauman tell them about the 45% exit tax on everything owned by anyone planning to give up their U.S. citizenship in search of greener, more private pastures.

They’ll see the graph from Rich Luchsinger of Sovereign International that showed the recent triple-digit performance of selected Saudi stocks.

They’ll remember Ronan McMahon running into the general session room with a special at-cost offer for a cabin at Apanas Lake Estates in Nicaragua.

It’s true...what you need somehow comes back to you. But even with this amazing mental process helping sort through the mountains of information, we always get requests for recordings of our events, not only from attendees who want to double-check facts and follow up with leads, but also from folks who couldn’t attend a seminar or conference and still want the hard facts and info we presented.

We started producing such recordings several years ago, and we’ve become pretty good at it by now. The recordings of the 2008 Ultimate Event are probably the best set we’ve put together so far, thanks in large part to an excellent technical crew that our Events team found in Cancun. These guys were obvious professionals, and from the way they managed the recording process, I’m betting that listening to these Ultimate Event recordings will put you right in the room with us.

Whether you were an attendee who wants to fill in the gaps or someone who wants to experience the entire seminar in your own home, this package fits the bill.
