More Reasons to Invest in Puerto Vallarta Real Estate
Date: 10/16/2007Here’s another follow-up from the Live & Prosper in Mexico seminar in Puerto Vallarta a couple of weeks ago. As you know, it’s our goal to uncover opportunities in Mexico… and we found a lot of them in Puerto Vallarta.
Wayne Franklin of Tropicasa Realty hosted two days of real estate tours and showed our readers lots of great Puerto Vallarta properties…and he told them about some pretty hefty buying incentives offered by developers. Franklin (everyone calls him by his last name) talked the developers into extending these offers to our International Living VIP and Mexico Insider readers and now they are being extended to you.
Listen up: over the past 10 years, Puerto Vallarta real estate has averaged 15% to 20% annual appreciation. Sure, it would have been great to have bought here 10 years ago—but the market doesn’t seem to have faltered much. With these buying incentives there are some very enticing reasons to give Puerto Vallarta a look right now. These incentives all expire soon so contact Franklin ASAP if you are interested.
Paramount and Avalon are two condominium developments offered by Tropicasa located south of downtown Puerto Vallarta in the Amapas and Conchas Chinas areas. Asking price for Avalon begins at $625,000 and Paramount at $405,000. Incentive: During the month of October only, with your purchase of a condo unit you’ll also receive a GE dishwasher, GE microwave, and double-door GE refrigerator, plus a garbage disposal and stackable washer and dryer.
Another offer that ends soon is for the Molina de Agua oceanfront condominium project next to the El Cuale River in El Centro (Romantic Zone). These units offer romantic bungalows with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Starting price ranges from $500,000 to $2,000,000. Incentive: Receive a built-in granite countertop barbecue with sink for the terrace. This upgrade is usually $1,500. The offer is valid through Oct. 26.
La Joya Huanacaxtle is in the North Shore Banderas Bay area and is a short walking distance from the Marina pier at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. There are 79 condos and 10 penthouses with your choice of two or three bedrooms. Standard amenities include large infinity pool, gym, business center, children’s area, palapa-style club house and much more. Starting price for units begins at just $188,000. Incentive: Reimbursement of airplane tickets up to $1,000. Offer valid through Nov. 15.
Las Vistas is a new pre-construction condominium project located in the 5 de Diciembre neighborhood (downtown Puerto Vallarta). Modern and upscale, the condo units here feature two to three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, granite countertops, marble floors, and a common pool area. Spacious terraces overlook city, mountains, and bay. Construction size ranges from 1,850 square feet to 3,189 square feet for penthouse units, and prices start at just $125,000. Incentive: Through Nov. 1, get a Volkswagen Pointer car (!) plus two airplane tickets from the U.S. or Canada for future use.
Both Terralta and Los Amores housing developments offer two-story homes located in Bucerias in the North Bay area. Both have three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms with 24/7 double security. Terralta has 1,090 square feet of construction with a starting price of $89,000 and a monthly maintenance fee of $25. Los Amores has a contemporary Mexican flare, with granite countertops and a pool house with a view of the ocean. Construction size ranges from 1,389 to 1,410 square feet. Starting price is $146,000 to $170,000. Incentive for both Terralta and Los Amores: Any purchase includes refrigerator plus washer and dryer. Offer is valid up to Nov. 1.
Punta Esmeralda is a luxury gated community located in the North Shore of Banderas Bay with many different options to choose from. All 66 villas and 138 condominiums offer views of the entire bay, north to south, and are available with two to four bedrooms. Units are anchored with tennis courts, gym, spa and 24-hour security entry. Prices range from $305,000 to $1,500,000. Incentive: Upgrade from standard kitchen cabinets to wood kitchen cabinets, appliances package and reimbursement of airplane tickets up to $1,000. Offer valid until Nov. 15.
