Recent competition between airlines in Ecuador means that airfares to Ecuador are at an all-time low. Aero Galapagos (Aerogal), a new airline that recently received permission to fly to and from Quito, is competing for business with Lan Ecuador, driving prices down and pushing other airlines, such as Copa and Taca, to become more competitive, too.
