“Buy what you see” has always been one of my mantras. The trouble is, you can’t always be sure what you’re looking at.
For example...what if what you see is nothing? That is, what if there’s no infrastructure…and the developer isn’t promising any infrastructure? What does that mean?

Cuenca, Ecuador
Learn more about Ecuador in International Living Postcards—your daily escape
I’ve discovered what I believe is the most undervalued and overlooked section of coastline in South America. But it’s not too late to get in on the opportunity.

My last report to you on Brazil’s northeastern coast was about property in the town of Cumbuco.

Read more about Belize in International Living Postcards—your daily escape
Real estate prices in Belize are rising, thanks to a surge in demand from Canadians and Europeans, especially the Irish. The phenomenon is apparent all around the country. In Corozal you’re likely to see real estate agents showing property to European clients, and in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, new Irish residents regularly meet at a local restaurant where they would have been a rare sight only a year ago.

Molise is Italy’s youngest region. In 1963, it split from Abruzzo, the region lying to the north. Sharing the same Adriatic coastline, it’s also a wild and secret land of mountains and hilltowns. Very tiny, though—its coastline is only 40 kilometers long.
